Where You'll Be Working
This Drug and Alcohol administration position is located at James Fletcher Hospital (Thwaites) in the Hunter New England region and forms part of a wider district Drug and Alcohol Team. You will communicate and work alongside a multidisciplinary team which include administration, nurses, allied health and medical officers.
About The Role
The successful applicant will act as a person of first contact for clients including telephone, email enquiries and personal contact with the clients. You will also assist team members to coordinate clinical care and correspondence, have an active position in scheduling meetings and recording minutes, as well as be responsible for coordinating travel and other organisational activities. Other tasks may include data entry and record keeping in support of DACS Managers.
You will be supported by your line manager and fellow colleagues. Orientation upon commencement is provided as well as ongoing support with professional development opportunities through our DACS Education sessions.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualities:
* Excellent communication skills
* Strict time management and organisational abilities
* Ability to work across a range of software OR learn these skills during the orientation period
* Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
