Job Description
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and skilled front-desk presence.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and accurately.
- Manage appointment bookings and maintain an up-to-date calendar for staff and clients.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
- Assist with general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-organised at all times.
- Provide support to other departments as required, including event coordination and scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Receptionist should have:
- Previous experience in a similar reception or administrative role within any industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT systems.
- A professional and friendly demeanour with a customer-focused approach.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- An understanding of or commitment to working within a not-for-profit or community-focused environment.
