* The Operations Specialist will sort, grade and process metals while delivering great service to customers.
* The role involves safely loading and unloading trucks, skip bins and trailers as well as operating machinery including forklifts and/or excavators/sheers.
* The Operations Specialist must greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
About the Role
This position requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to effectively manage daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Loading and unloading materials from trucks, skip bins and trailers
o Operating machinery such as forklifts and/or excavators/sheers
o Sorting and grading metals
o Greeting and assisting customers
* Working Conditions:
o Indoor and outdoor work environments
o Frequent bending, lifting and carrying of heavy materials
o May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
