We're currently looking for a talented Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a Rehabilitation Consultant and Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Job Description
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
* Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
* Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
* Designing, implementing and monitoring exercise programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
* Teaching, coaching, and motivating clients to facilitate self‐management of exercise and healthy lifestyle, using models of behaviour change, scientific evidence and clinical reasoning, and accounting for sociocultural and individual factors
* Designing, implementing and evaluating safe and effective exercise interventions based on referral information, presenting pathologies and comorbidities, clinical reasoning, pre‐intervention assessments and the analysis, interpretation, and application of scientific evidence.
* Conducting initial assessments and identifying RTW barriers, and designing/implementing/monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce as required.
* Completing accurate case notes which reflect actions undertaken and any recommendations to achieve the Return to Work and Health goal.
Qualifications
* Australian recognised degree qualification in Exercise Physiology
* Willingness to travel (a current vehicle and driver's licence is required)
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
* A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
