**What will you do?**
The primary objective of the Compliance Officer is to ensure compliance and operational continuity of WorkPac Skills by supporting effective contract management, quality training delivery, accreditation, legislative requirements, and customer outcomes. This role is pivotal to enabling the future growth and success of WorkPac Skills by ensuring our practices align to funding body requirements and industry standards in a manner that is consistent with our brand and reputation.
Other duties will include:
- Maintaining a current compliance register 
- Communicating regulatory requirements and changes with relevant management and employees 
- Ensure compliant training and assessment resources, delivery and record keeping 
- Update resources to align with current scope 
- Update Training and Assessment Strategies 
- Routine checks on trainer files and matrixes 
- Review and modify course structures 
- Working with internal stakeholders to support internal audits 
- Ensuring readiness and compliance 
- Development and review of WorkPac Skills compliance framework 
- Checking submitted assessments for compliance
**What do you need?** 
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of RTO compliance 
- Working knowledge of various funding contract requirements including but not limited to Traineeships, Apprenticeships, CSQ, DESBT, SA & WA, NSW 
- Previous Administration experience (record keeping, filing, reporting) 
- Diploma or Degree in the field of education and training - preferable 
- CERT IV in Training and Assessment - preferable 
- 2-3 years experience in a Compliance focused role - advantageous 
- Previous experience in Mining/Resources or Civil industries - advantageous 
- The ability to absorb information and learn new processes 
- Attention to detail
