Overview
SAP Project Manager – FMCG Sector at Launch Group. We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to deliver key initiatives for our client in the FMCG industry. This role requires proven SAP delivery expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to operate confidently in both structured and agile environments.
Key Requirements
- SAP Expertise
- Proven experience with SAP ECC (essential)
- Exposure to Suite on HANA (desirable)
- Industry Background
- FMCG industry experience highly desirable
- Ability to work within a large, complex organisation and navigate cross-functional environments
- Project Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing end-to-end projects
- Delivery experience across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) highly regarded
Core Skills
- Delivery & Planning – Managing scope, timelines, and resources across complex projects
- Financial Acumen – Detailed budget tracking, cost management, and forecasting
- Stakeholder Management – Strong communication and engagement with business, technical teams, and senior management
- Risk & Issue Management – Proactive identification, escalation, and resolution
- Tool Proficiency – Confident with Microsoft Suite and JIRA
- Reporting & Governance – Preparation of explicit, concise status updates and governance documentation
- Vendor & Contract Management – Oversight of third-party deliverables and contract compliance
- Dealing with Ambiguity – Comfortable managing change, navigating uncertainty, and driving clarity in complex environments
