Cyber Engineer/Analyst – Protect Systems and Hunt Threats in a Secure Environment

This role requires a Negative Vetting 1 clearance or above and is based in Canberra, ACT.
What you’ll be doing:
Monitor, maintain and improve cybersecurity systems, including log ingestion and use case development.
Perform security analysis on event logs to detect and counter anomalous activity.
Support incident response, remediation, and threat-hunting efforts.
Create and maintain cybersecurity playbooks and technical documentation.
What we’re looking for:
At least 3 years’ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst and/or Engineer.
Experience managing SPLUNK or equivalent SIEM infrastructure.
Knowledge of log ingestion from hybrid platforms (Azure & AWS).
Strong communication and documentation skills, with a team-focused mindset.
