As an A-Grade Electrician at Brimstone Electrical Co., you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and service across commercial projects, high-end residential builds, and multi-unit developments. This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to uphold Brimstone's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Installations & Service
Perform electrical rough-ins, fit-offs, switchboard installations, and commissioning to AS/NZS 3000 standards.
Carry out fault finding, testing, and rectification of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Project Execution
Review drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
Proactively identify issues, raise RFIs, and provide solutions.
Maintain site cleanliness, professionalism, and quality of finish.
Supervise apprentices, providing training, mentoring, and skills development.
Work collaboratively with project leads, builders, and other trades.
Take initiative to manage tasks, order materials (where delegated), and ensure deadlines are met.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete compliance certificates, SWMS, ITPs, and site checklists accurately.
Label, log, and document all works clearly for future reference.
Keep daily job notes and update progress reports as required.
Core Competencies
Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
White Card & relevant OHS training.
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and associated standards.
Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding, and communication skills.
