An opportunity has recently arisen for a supervisor to join the Civil Asphalt team as a result of business growth and internal promotion. You will be an integral member of our Infrastructure Services Team and will be responsible for supervising day-to-day spray seal activities across NSW. This is a permanent opportunity to step into a leadership role and define your career.
Responsibilities will include:
- Drive productive & safe onsite daily operations to ensure profit targets are achieved with high focus on HSEQ.
- Ensure high utilization of equipment and ensure that required repair and maintenance are carried out in a timely and effective manner.
- Liaising with clients in regards to the job's needs and expectations.
- Planning and management of onsite activities, including subcontractors and hired equipment.
- Effective people management of the crew.
- Completion of works in line with our tendered expectations.
- Ability to travel and work away as required.
What we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience in Asphalt civil construction work delivery, including the operation of equipment.
- Experience in providing bituminous spray seal work scope and product advice that is value-added to customers.
- Completed a recognized Leadership training course (preferred but not mandatory)
- 2 years of experience supervising Asphalt crews.
