About the Business Unit
People Safety and Culture exists to support the department's most important asset - the workforce. We strive to cultivate an enjoyable and efficient working environment that allows our staff to thrive in their roles. We do this through expert management of human resources, payroll, recruitment, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, workforce planning, transformation and employment regulations. We also deliver a range of support functions including accommodation, fleet, records management, Enterprise Project Management and maintenance of the Project Management Excellence Framework.
The Recruitment Services branch within PSC provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's (the department) strategic objective of "building a high performing justice system", Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.
