Exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to commence on a minimum 3 month temp assignment

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to support expediting activities, supplier performance and materials flow across the business.

Your new role

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of purchasing and expediting requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

* Raising purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
* Confirming purchase orders and engaging directly with vendors.
* Conducting vendor price reviews as required.
* Expediting orders and working collaboratively with vendors to identify solutions that meet delivery and quality expectations.
* Obtaining supplier QA documentation.
* Providing logistics support, including securing freight and shipping quotes, coordinating shipping documentation, arranging freight movements, raising freight purchase orders, and reconciling invoices.
* Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
* Providing coverage and support across the procurement team as needed.
* Facilitating the flow of materials between internal departments and key stakeholders.
* Maintaining accurate records, files, and clerical documentation.
* Contributing to the development and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System.
* Supporting sourcing activities by identifying reliable alternate supply options.

Monitoring supplier performance and assisting with supplier‑related claims and quality issues

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

* Experience working with an ERP system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
* Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Administrator or similar role.
* Proven capability in negotiating supply chain efficiencies and process improvements.
