Sales Engineer – Heavy Industry Sectors
$100-130K + Bonus + Super

The Company
Our client is a market leader worldwide specialising in industrial heating applications. They have been in business over 100 years and have recently broken into the Australian market as they navigate unprecedented growth.
Responsibilities
* Engaging with clients & customers to gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and develop and provide perceptive and expert solutions to their requirements.
* Develop proposals, including the ability to perform thermal calculations todetermineproper heating requirements and design effective heating solutions.
* Maintain and service existing relationships with customers & ensure clear lines of communication between all departments internally in order to meet the customer's requirements.
* Efficiently manage and process the various aspects of the order cycle, such as order entry, approval drawings, and material returns authorizations.
* Effectively plan sales activities to assure proactive customer engagement and a high level of their brand presence in the market.
* Attendindustry events that drive awareness of the solutions andcreaterelationships with key contacts at the venue, brand, ownership, management, and developer level.
* Utilise your excellent communication and networking skills to nurture relationships and sales growth with our customers.
Your Background / Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience with outside sales and / or within a technical service role.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, witha track recordof exceeding sales goals.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of being able to build and maintain external customer relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
* Proven working experience with problem-solving, thinking creatively, and resolving personnel and project-related issues promptly.
