We are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Accountant on a 3-4 months temporary contractual basis for a leading NFP organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities
* Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
* Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
* Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
* Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant
* Proficiency in using TechOne
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
* Studying towards CA/ CPA
