The Opportunity
Join EML in any of our Australian offices! Every day, our Case Managers help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate injured workers' recovery and return to work. From police officers to builders, hospitality workers to farmers — we help. As a senior team member, you'll provide coaching and handle escalations. We have opportunities in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia, with a generous relocation allowance for eligible candidates.
This is a full-time, permanent position with flexibility to work from home (WFH).
Your Responsibilities
* Proactively manage a portfolio of workers' compensation claims to achieve early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
* Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create effective Return to Work strategies.
* Assist workers and employers with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to services.
* Assess liability and recovery aspects relevant to legislation or policies, with ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments.
* Respond to escalations, providing coaching and mentoring to team members.
About You
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme.
* An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to customer support.
* A driven professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail with high accuracy.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* A team player who works collaboratively and independently.
