We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Agricultural Technician in a full-time, permanent position.
This role involves supporting the installation, optimization, and ongoing performance of automated feeding machines. You will work closely with clients to troubleshoot equipment issues and deliver timely solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, program, test, and maintain agricultural equipment.
* Provide on-site and remote support to clients during installation and system setup.
* Troubleshoot equipment issues and deliver timely solutions.
* Advise clients on optimal system configuration and best-practice feeding workflows.
* Manage equipment inventory, tools, and job scheduling.
* Maintain accurate service records and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical knowledge of animal husbandry and general livestock farming practices.
* Technological proficiency working with modern farming equipment, sensors, automated systems, or machinery.
* Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage daily tasks and longer-term projects independently.
* Physical fitness with the capacity to perform outdoor, hands-on tasks, including equipment installation and maintenance.
* A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
* A valid driver's license (required); mechanical or electrical aptitude (advantageous).
