Overview
This is an exciting prospect to join KCJ CIVIL PTY LTD as a Concrete Team Leader. In this full-time role based in Sydney NSW 2000, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the concrete works on various construction sites. With a focus on delivering high-quality results, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within the construction industry.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing and directing a team of concrete workers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of all concrete-related tasks
- Coordinating the scheduling and sequencing of concrete pours to meet project timelines
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of concrete works, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary
- Mentoring and developing the skills of the concrete team members
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the concrete works
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience (3+ years) in a similar Concrete Team Leader or Foreperson role within the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of concrete construction practices, techniques and quality standards
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
