About the role
As Senior Waste Policy Officer within the Waste and Resource Recovery business unit you will:
* Help ensure the successful implementation of the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022.
* Contribute to policy development to facilitate waste industry reform and landfill levy implementation.
* Liaise and provide advice to stakeholders and the community.
* Conduct work on waste management and resource recovery sites throughout the state.
This is a permanent position based in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport (to be negotiated).

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Desirable requirements
* A Degree in either Science, Engineering, Sustainability or Business, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
* A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
