About This Opportunity:
This role requires a skilled administrator to provide effective support to a technical Information Communications and Technology (ICT) project within a program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities and processes related to project procurement, finance, asset documentation, and general administration tasks.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the development and successful completion of procurement submissions and supporting documentation in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
* Deliver contract management support, including variations, receipt and review of deliverables, and administration of closures.
* Evaluate and ensure the planning and delivery of major project milestones align with financial requirements.
* Provide effective administration of finances and budgets, including record keeping and systems management; secretariat support for meetings and forums; development of briefs and minutes, monthly reporting, and future budget planning.
* Manage project assets, including quarterly reviews and asset rollouts.
Required Skills and Experience:
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
* Demonstrated experience in ICT projects and knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
* Experience in budgeting, project accounting, and financial reporting procedures for government major projects.
* Asset and records management expertise.
* Familiarity with ASD finance, procurement, and asset management policies and frameworks.
* Proficiency in Government Financial and Asset Management systems.
