Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role involves ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, managing site finances, and leading quality assurance programmes.
* Ensure contractually agreed requirements are met while maintaining a collaborative relationship with clients.
* Manage costs and revenues through analysis and implementation of initiatives.
* Short-term scheduling of operations and production monitoring.
* Monthly performance reporting and budget preparation.
* Assist in preparing monthly claims and liaise with clients.
* Understanding equipment and human resource capability and productivities.
* Ability to manage mining contracts and costs.
* Effective communication and liaison skills with employees and client site management.
* Ability to prepare monthly mining progress claims.
* Identifying potential hazards and minimising risks.
* Scheduling labour and assessing working conditions.
* Understanding mine reporting systems and statutory regulations.
* Supervising, leading, assessing, promoting, and educating personnel.
* Degree in Mining Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years Underground Mining Experience.
* Underground Supervisors Certificate or 1st Class Mine Managers Certificate.
* Senior First Aid Certificate.
* Australian Driver's License.
