Transforming Crime Intelligence in Australia
">
The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is the national criminal intelligence agency for Australia, providing strategic advice to senior decision-makers on serious and organised crime impacting the country.
">
We operate against a pervasive, transnational and globalised criminal threat. As a small agency that makes a real impact on serious and organised crime, we need talented and dedicated individuals who are intelligent, highly capable and seeking to make a difference to the lives of all Australians.
">
The Legal Services branch provides strategic legal advice to the CEO and senior executive, operational legal services in support of special investigations and special operations, and statutory interpretation of relevant legislation.
">
The Internal Policy team oversees the internal policy framework and provides assurance to the CEO that the agency is operating in line with its legal and regulatory obligations.
">
As an Internal Policy Officer, you will perform four key functions:
">
">
* Corporate reporting and coordinating mandatory internal policy updates;
">
* Providing administrative support to business areas updating policies;
">
* Contributing to team/organisational outcomes;
">
">
Our mission is to reduce the harm caused by serious and organised crime through effective collaboration with our partners, identifying opportunities for prevention and intervention, and developing solutions to address these complex issues.
