As the Head of Human Resources, you will work closely with employees across all levels to understand the needs of the business now and in the future to drive engagement, performance, and productivity. You will have direct responsibility for managing all aspects of the employee life cycle whilst championing the employer brand in the global market as a great place to work. If you have a strong HR-generalist background, have worked with business leaders to shape, and deliver on the people agenda, and you want to make an impact in a scaling organisation, then this is the role for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build trusted relationships with the CEO and Executive team
- Actively coach and mentor members within the HR team
- Drive and deliver strategic HR initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives, taking a data-driven approach
- Facilitate and manage employee life cycle activities (performance and salary reviews, talent and succession planning, performance management, onboarding, reward and recognition)
- Drive high performance across the business, proactively driving strategies to increase engagement and retention
- Analyse employment data to determine workforce trends, productivity and other performance measures and discuss potential solutions / improvements with managers
- Facilitate regular reporting to management regarding employee matters including employee absence, leave management, monthly headcount against budget, turnover
- Effectively manage and resolve disputes and other HR matters with employees and/or third parties in a timely manner
- Provide advice regarding disciplinary, performance and grievance issues, and ensure supporting policy and procedures meet industrial relations legislative and organisational requirements
- Manage the recruitment, selection, and induction of new joiners
- Training and organisation development
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation
**THE CANDIDATE**
- Experience in a similar role (i.e. Head of People, HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner)
- High levels of confidentiality
- Proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across all levels to become a trusted advisor
- Ability to influence others without authority
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of the employee life cycle
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a small team to achieve stretch goals and KPIs, including developing and mentoring of team members
- Experience in the tech sector preferred.
