About the School
The School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, delivers contemporary education in computing and information technology to develop highly skilled ICT professionals. The School offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Science and Information Technology and has a strong culture of collaboration, supporting multidisciplinary research across the University.

About the Role
The School is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated academic to join the team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, contributing to both teaching and research, particularly within the Cybersecurity domain. SCIT is committed to maintaining its standing as a leading research school, and this role will contribute to advancing that objective.
The University places a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional student experience. In this role, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will undertake teaching and coordination of a range of subjects within the School, with a particular focus on first-year teaching, while also contributing to research in cybersecurity.
In addition to strong teaching capability, the successful candidate will demonstrate an established research profile and expertise in cybersecurity. Areas of interest may include emerging fields such as blockchain, cloud and edge computing, Internet of Everything (IoE) security, and machine learning security.
The role will be primarily based at the Wollongong campus, although teaching at the Liverpool campus may also be required.
