They are currently seeking a Communications & Marketing Advisor to help shape the way the school tells its story, engages families, and showcases student life, achievements and community impact.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Communications & Marketing Advisor plays a central role in creating, producing and delivering high-quality marketing and communications content. You will work across publications, digital channels, campaigns and events – ensuring messaging is consistent, on brand, and reflective of the school's values and strategic priorities. This is a hands‑on, creative and fast‑paced role ideal for someone who loves storytelling, design and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and produce high‑quality marketing collateral, brochures and promotional materials
* Lead the production of major school publications including magazines, newsletters and community updates
* Create, proof and manage written content for print, social media, website and digital campaigns
* Develop content that reflects school life, student achievements and community stories
* Manage and update website content, email marketing and blog activity
* Support advertising campaigns and liaise with media and creative suppliers
* Coordinate event communications, promotional pieces and supporting materials
* Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistent visual identity across all platforms
* Build relationships with staff, students and parents to source stories and marketing opportunities
* Review and approve communication materials to ensure accuracy and professionalism
About You
You're a creative, detail‑driven marketer with exceptional writing, editing and design capability. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy collaborating with a diverse school community, and take pride in crafting high‑quality, values‑aligned content.
* 3‑5 years' experience in marketing, communications or similar roles
* Strong copywriting, storytelling and editing skills
* Experience creating digital and print publications
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva
* Strong organisation, project management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in education or community‑based organisations (desirable)
* A commitment to child safety, confidentiality and professional standards
