Job Overview
This is a 6-month contract role with potential extensions. The Infrastructure Solution Architect will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to design and implement an integrated data archive solution.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop solution architectures aligned with Architecture Principles, reference architectures, and Security guidelines.
* Collaborate with vendors, planning, and delivery teams on solution architectures.
* E nsure the overall architecture aligns with business and platform architectures.
* Assist in specifying infrastructure requirements and architecture for services.
* Estimate budgetary resources, schedules, and costs required for solutions.
* Develop patterns when requested.
* Create service migration and deployment models that adhere to project and program dependencies.
* Produce Architecture-related deliverables with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* Main point of contact for solution architectures with internal and external stakeholders.
* Support procurements of hardware, software, and services as needed.
* Advise delivery capabilities in completing assigned activities.
About You
* 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
* Ability to build relationships with senior managers and staff.
* Understanding of designing services to meet security requirements.
* Prior experience with data archive solutions or system operations.
* Solid domain knowledge, certification, and/or experience in IT Architecture, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Applications, and Operations.
* Experienced in developing secure and aligned solutions with ISM security policies.
* Experience with systems administration.
* Familiarity with Federal Government technology and processes.
* TOGAF accreditation.
