Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Acute Services
We are seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to assist with the management of our Acute Ward. The role would suit an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager or a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make career progression by stepping into Management.
The position is a fixed term, part-time basis. The EFT is variable depending on the successful candidate; 3 days/24 hours per week is preferred. The fixed term is to 1 April 2026.
What You Bring
- Managerial experience as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, or a history working as a high-performing nurse ready to move into an Associate Nurse Unit Manager role.
- Experience working in a Small Rural Health Service.
- Ability to work a rotating roster across seven days of the week.
- A collaborative and collegial approach to work to job share with other appointed Associate Nurse Unit Managers.
- An understanding of the unique challenges in rural and regional health.
- Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Commitment to a person-centred approach to providing care and services.
- Satisfactory employment screening checks, such as a National Police Records Check, Working with Children Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check as determined.
