About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Material Logistics Officer (MLO) to support our Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) team on a prominent mine site. This role plays a key part in ensuring the timely staging, tracking, and supply of materials to meet operational and project demands.
Full-time positions on an 8:6 roster. FIFO from Perth. Meals and accommodations provided.
About You
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with SAP or similar systems is highly regarded
Previous experience in logistics, inventory, or materials management preferred.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering outcomes.
White Card
Valid C Class Driver's licence
Permanent work rights with no restrictions
Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Lab DAS
A team minded, positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
Stage materials in preparation for planned works in line with the weekly schedule
Track rescheduled works and manage related staging requirements.
Complete TECO work order reporting and return unused stock to the warehouse.
Assist with inventory reporting and present data as required.
Follow up with suppliers to resolve delivery delays and expedite orders.
Coordinate and manage warehouse transfers and urgent freight.
Receive weekly deliveries and oversee material storage, including accurate record-keeping in ZPM stock.
Continuously track forward-log material requirements, maintaining stock levels through reconciliations, physical counts, and stocktakes.
Support supervisors and contractors with planned and breakdown work material needs.
Catalogue new materials for use by internal and contractor teams.
Raise and process purchase requisitions as required.
Manage daily SAP workflow tasks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and site stakeholders.
Collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing teams, including submitting ANCI and ATI requests.
Partner with Planners to support and deliver the weekly execution plan.
Industrial / mining maintenance experience
Demonstrated experience in safe work practices & OHS compliance
Experience working in a FIFO role
