Remuneration: Dependent on Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing
The Senior Paediatric Mental Health Clinician supports children aged up to 12 and their families through community-based care across WSLHD. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role provides therapeutic interventions, clinical leadership, and collaborative stakeholder support.
* Deliver specialist mental health care to children and families
* Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans
* Collaborate with key agencies and service partners
* Provide clinical supervision and team support
* Lead quality improvement and research initiatives

Essential Requirements
* Qualification: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
* Registration: Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology. Full registration with APHRA as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker- eligibility to be member of the AASW
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience in working therapeutically with children and families who present with significant emotional, behavioural, and/or mental health difficulties.
* Demonstrated evidence-based skills in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health issues in a developmental framework.
* Demonstrated skills and experience in working with families who are at risk due to issues such as substance abuse, mental illness, child protection and domestic violence.
* Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families.
* Current NSW driver license and willing to use for work purposes
