We are partnering with a long-established, privately owned Australian business with a strong reputation across manufacturing and building products, specialising in sheet metal roofing and associated products. With decades of success behind them, this organisation continues to grow through strong relationships, quality delivery and a genuine commitment to their people. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Internal Sales / Account Manager to join their collaborative team. This is a relationship-driven role where you will manage an existing portfolio of customers, support quoting and sales activity, and work closely with internal teams to deliver consistent outcomes.
The Role
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, supporting sales activity and ensuring a high level of service across your portfolio.
* Managing and growing an existing portfolio of customers across roofing, construction and trade clients
* Acting as the key point of contact for enquiries relating to sheet metal roofing products and solutions
* Preparing accurate quotations for roofing and building products and following through to conversion
* Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin across accounts
* Maintaining CRM/ERP systems and tracking pipeline activity
* Supporting forecasting, reporting and general sales administration
* Working closely with production, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Resolving customer queries and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
About You
* 3–5+ years experience in internal sales, account management or customer-facing roles
* Experience within sheet metal, roofing, steel or building products highly regarded
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Commercially aware with an understanding of pricing and margins
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts
* Experience using CRM/ERP systems (Odoo highly regarded but not essential)
