He/she will collaborate with the divisions for the creation of a high-performance culture by implementing team and organization design solutions and providing measurable performance indicators and improvement plans.The jobholder also will be accountable to bring HR insight (including Employee and Industrial Relations) to bear on all people-related issues (people, capabilities, organization, leadership and culture), facilitate HR Shared Service delivery to the business and support the business and teams in business delivery. At the same time, he/she always ensure daily front-line support to the division with the purpose to provide the best employee experience possible (onboarding, training, well-being), understand hiring needs to bring best talents on board.This role reports to the Chief HR Officer of Hong Leong Bank Berhad.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities1) Drive the leadership working capabilities and culture for a team of HR Business Partners. The Head of HR Business Partner is responsible to develop a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors through providing leadership and guidance to the team to ensure they are providing the business with HR support and partnership to drive the overall business strategy.2) Involvement in Business Planning. The Head of HR Business Partner is expected to have excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic knowledge in order to understand the function business direction:Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to elevate the business partnering service by understanding key requirements.Contribute to business strategy by supporting the business line in identifying, prioritizing and building people capabilities, structure and improve HR processes.3) Workforce Management (include manpower management and recruitment). The Head HR Business Partner is responsible for the governance of manpower set out by the approved budget and provides the approved justifications for exceptions when required.Guide line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirement in line with the function / business strategy. Highlight manpower issues and headcount management solutions to address any resulting issues.Customize creative methods to optimize the process of sourcing, screening and selection of ideal talents through various platformsAdvise business on requisition and support candidate interview, ensure manager-interviewer is equipped to interview and assess culture fit and behavioral/leadership competenciesAssist business line in defining the position requirements, core competency requirements and performance management of the position to create a high-performance culture and engaged workforce.4) Talent & Staff Development Management. The Head of HRBP will be required to have first-hand knowledge of who are the talents within their function and partner with the Head of HRBP / Head of Talent Management for driving management of talent development with the Head of Department.Guide the line manager in the successor/talent selection processGuide the line managers and staff on managing career development methodologies.Facilitate talent review with business to assess talent growth and movements - exits, hiring, transfers, promotions, high performers, high potentials, conversion of contract staff – and advise on workforce planning and mitigating any talent gaps.Identify key skills for retention opportunities, partner with Total Rewards team in developing actions to retain an engaged and motivated workforce5) Change Management. The Head of HRBP is responsible for identifying issues and work with the line managers and Centre of Expertise whether anticipatory or antecedent that require change management interventions resulting from organizational/unit, policy people change, etc.Provide guidance to line managers in understanding the need for change, identify the change requirements and to support continuous improvement; and ensuring compliance with industry and internal policies and best practicesUndertake ad-hoc functional or cross functional change management projects, where assigned.Support change initiatives that affect the business and advice on people management aspects.Support culture and team buildings for the functions/areas.Jobholder Requirements:Education/QualificationBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.ExperienceAt least 15 years experience in Human Resources and Recruitment.Exposure in Workday will be an advantage.What’s next?Once you’ve applied online, our team will carefully review your application.
