Job Description
The primary purpose of the Multi-Combination (MC) Operators is to safely and efficiently operate MC combinations and other heavy equipment.
Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for:
* Efficient and Safe operation of vehicles;
* Conducting pre and post work vehicle checks;
* Reporting any defects in a timely manner;
* Completing all necessary associated documentation;
* Following appropriate work instructions and company procedures;
* Initiating action to prevent the occurrence of deficiencies in the delivery of product;
* Undertaking supervision work when directed;
* Taking good care of vehicles/plant under your care;
* Complying with WA Main Roads / NHVL heavy vehicle operating guidelines;
* Complying with WA Main Roads / NHVL fatigue management requirements;
* Complying with loading requirements relating to axle weights and adhering to vehicle specific permits;
* Complying with National Load Restraint Guidelines;
* Meeting Chain of Responsibility requirements;
* Exhibiting professional conduct at all Qube managed facilities;
* Performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment under their direct control;

Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid Police Clearance;
* Pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test;
* Hold an appropriate licence class for any other vehicles operated;
* Have knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards;
* Be able to work autonomously using a proactive approach to safe task resolution;
* Be able to work well within a team environment.
