Job Overview
Job Title: Early Childhood Educator – City of Kingston – Carrum, Edithvale, or Parkdale.
Position: Full‐time and part‐time opportunities; full‐time includes a monthly rostered day off, part‐time 8‐hour shifts (2 or 3 days), rotating roster from 6:45 am to 6:15 pm. Pay: $69,181 – $73,600 per annum plus pro‐rate superannuation, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise children, maintain safety and well‐being.
* Provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment and ensure inclusion of all children.
* Contribute positively to team culture.
* Build collaborative relationships with children, families and team members.
* Collaborate with leaders, coworkers, families, children, and the community.
* Adhere to National Quality Standards, EYLF, and regulatory frameworks.
* Assist in implementation of high‐quality children's programs responding to individual strengths and interests.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum qualification: Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
* Current working with children clearance.
* Level 2 First Aid (including asthma & anaphylaxis management and CPR).
