Seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and caring vocal teacher to join the Middle C Music Academy team. We are a vibrant and growing music school/studio dedicated to nurturing a love of music in students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities
* Teach private and/or small group vocal lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels;
* Create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals, abilities, and learning styles;
* Foster a positive, supportive, and fun atmosphere that inspires confidence and growth;
* Track student progress and communicate regularly with students and/or parents;
* Prepare students for performances or auditions as needed;
* Be reliable, punctual, and qualified in all communications and scheduling.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a vocal teacher or vocal coach;
* Solid background in vocal performance and/or vocal pedagogy;
* Ability to teach a range of styles (e.g. classical, musical theatre, pop) is a plus;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Passion for teaching and a student-centered approach;
* Versatile and adaptable with scheduling as hours increase.
