Pyramid Residential Care Centre is a charitable organisation developed by community, for the benefit of community. As a not-for-profit organisation, our facility financially depends on its own fundraising activities, residents’ contributions and Commonwealth Government subsidies.
The Centre is a custom designed and built facility, offering 83 high care needs beds for residents. Located 20 minutes south of Cairns in Gordonvale. 
PRCC has recently expanded our residential care accommodation at the Centre with significant investment being made into our facility’s infrastructure, our team and the quality of our service. It is a very exciting and challenging time to be involved!

The Opportunity
PRCC is excited to welcome driven and committed individuals to join our team.
We are looking to attract qualified Registered Nurses, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience within the Aged Care sector.
As a valued member of the Registered Nursing Team you will provide person-centered care to residents ensuring a safe environment within the facility, applying clinical skills to improve their quality of life and independence. 
This position will:
- Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope;
- Consider physical, social and psychological requirements;
- Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs;
- Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met;
- Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members.
The successful candidate will be driven to make a change in the lives of our elderly residents and enable their independence and well-being by demonstrating:
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and to work autonomously.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Nursing; 
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration; 
- Current Police Check; 
- Current Australian Driver’s License; 
- Evidence of COVID Vaccinations;
