Senior Finance Business Partner / FP&A Manager (Contract). Immediate Start, 3–6 Month Contract.
An established and highly respected Australian professional services and project-based organisation is seeking an experienced senior finance professional to step into a key contract role supporting their Financial Planning & Analysis function during a period of transition.
Operating within a large, complex and project-driven environment, this organisation partners with government and major industry clients across Australia and internationally. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and strategic advisory capability, the finance team plays a critical role in supporting business performance, project delivery and commercial decision making.
This opportunity will see you working closely with senior leadership while providing hands‐on FP&A leadership, financial insight and operational support across the organisation's planning and reporting cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day‐to‐day guidance and prioritisation for the Financial Planning & Partnering team
Support the redesign and transition of budgeting and forecasting processes
Lead or support delivery of financial forecasts, budgets and performance analysis
Prepare and enhance monthly management reporting with clear, actionable insights
Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial advice and decision support
Support cost allocation, overhead analysis and financial modelling activities
Assist with business case reviews, pricing oversight and project financial analysis
About You:
You are an experienced FP&A leader or finance business partner who is comfortable stepping into complex environments and quickly adding value.
You will bring:
Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
Experience operating within large, project-based or complex organisations
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to enterprise finance systems (Oracle, SAP, TM1, Hyperion or similar)
Confidence engaging with senior leaders and influencing commercial decisions
The ability to work autonomously and provide stability during periods of change
Immediate start required
3–6 month initial contract term
