About your new role
We’re looking for a Civil Engineer with proven experience in urban infrastructure and transport design to join our Infrastructure Gold Coast team. You’ll deliver roads, intersections, and civic projects that make a real impact, taking them from concept through to IFC documentation.
This role suits engineers who enjoy technical detail, coordination, and producing designs that are both safe and constructable. With a 36-hour work week and a 9-day fortnight, it’s also an opportunity to balance professional growth with personal time!
Responsibilities Include:
• Deliver civil design projects from concept through to IFC.
• Coordinate inputs from internal teams.
• Prepare and review drawings, reports, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Apply Austroads and TMR standards to deliver safe, practical designs.
• Solve real-world design challenges and develop toward RPEQ certification.
We're looking for people who have:
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure designs (local government or consultancy).
• Solid experience with Austroads and TMR design standards.
• Civil 3D and/or 12d design software skills highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C Class Driver Licence (unrestricted) and White Card.
