Overview
New opening for a test engineer with the deep tech division of a global technology company. The main focus is the verification and validation of sophisticated software and systems for a range of state‐of‐the‐art products. The role suits someone with at least 4 to 5 years of manual and automation experience with a focus on system and sub‐system testing. Experience with Python or a similar scripting language is essential, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating well‐constructed test cases, running rigorous tests for critical systems, and providing thorough, accurate documentation.
Qualifications
* A relevant degree (e.g., computer science, electronic or mechatronic engineering)
* At least four years in test automation (Python / pytest preferred)
* Experience with system and subsystem software testing for high‐tech products
* Experience with Git, Jira / Xray, Confluence, Jenkins (or equivalents)
* A good working knowledge of Windows and Linux OSs
* Australian citizenship (for security clearance purposes)
Optional Experience
* Experience testing C++ code
* Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS
* Experience in a regulated industry sector (e.g., defence, biomedical, automotive, payments)
