We are currently recruiting for a **Full Time Hotel IT Systems Officer** to join our team.
**About the Role**
You will be responsible for the efficient running of our Information Systems in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
**You will**:
- Manage the Information Technology function within the Hotel using appropriate systems management procedures and practices to ensure the optimal operating effectiveness and integrity of data is maintained at all times.
- Ensure critical systems, especially Front Office Property Management, and Food & Beverage point of sale computer systems, are available at all times.
- Be responsible for effectively managing all communication networks used internally within the hotels and all gateways to external networks.
- Establish and maintain backup procedures for all systems to ensure protection from loss of data and ensure backups are carried out in accordance with corporate and local policies.
- Participate in the preparation of the Hotel Capital Plan with divisional guidance. Ensure that project releases for technical projects are completed as required.
- Assist in the evaluation of new systems and detailing specifications for customisation of current and future systems to address hotel needs. Make recommendations to management advising them of new technology to increase efficiency and enhance the guests stay.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to hotel management, whilst assisting in the provision of Information Systems related services to our hotel guests.
**Role requirements**:
- A university degree or diploma in Information Systems and/or Computer Programming;
- Networking experience advantageous;
- Recent work experience within an Information Systems role in an operation with advanced technology;
- Hotel related IS experience highly regarded;
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills essential
