The role of the Sustainability Manager plays a vital part in shaping the future of our company's environmental strategy. This includes setting, measuring, and reporting on long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sustainable practices across all operations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
* Conduct data analysis, modelling, and business intelligence reporting to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
* Manage and maintain databases, GIS systems, and organisation-wide business intelligence tools to enhance investor relations and strategic planning.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and timely reports for all sustainability activities.
* Represent the company at external events, building relationships with stakeholders and partners.
* Drive innovation and process improvements in sustainability management and reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or similar field.
* Strong understanding of agricultural production, sustainability principles, and environmental management.
* Experience in environmental monitoring, agriculture asset management, sustainability, natural capital, or related fields.
* Expertise in data modelling, commercial analysis, and reporting systems including business intelligence reporting.
* High attention to detail and ability to apply scientific methodology and rigour.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* GIS experience preferred or willingness to acquire skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
* Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate effectively to achieve results.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Australia.
