A large Defence organisation based in Adelaide's Northern suburbs is looking for a T&E Lead, commencing ASAP

Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and Commercial technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber Domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Lead, to join their team based in Adelaide.
**Your new role**
The JORN Systems Engineer (T&E Lead) is accountable to the JORN Systems Engineering Lead and is responsible for the planning, development and execution of Commonwealth T&E activities of the Mission Systems and Support Systems and maintaining T&E practices and procedures and their compliance with department, regulatory and legislated requirements.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Lead the JORN T&E program, in ensuring the JORN capabilities are adequately verified to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Conduct T&E planning, contributing to an integrated schedule of JORN Systems Team activities, across the T&E lifecycle including T&E schedules, Integrated Process Team deliverables, T&E reports, and test plans.
- Synchronise Commonwealth T&E activities with the Contractor T&E activities to maximise efficiency and optimise the use of data to support evaluations.
- Lead Engineering Support Contractor activities in relation to the Commonwealth T&E program including the development of TSI's
- Undertake activities and tasks relating to verification and validation and testing to achieve agreed priorities and outcomes.
- Build and sustain working relationships with the Prime System Engineers and the Prime T&E Manager, Commonwealth Systems Engineers, IDSTG, IRSU and other Department of Defence stakeholders.
- Coordinate the evaluation of Prime V&V deliverables to ensure alignment with the program T&E objectives.
- Coordinate and participate in the execution of Commonwealth responsibilities in relation to the conduct and analyses of contractor test activities (TRR's, witnessing, test report review)
- Ensure Commonwealth allocated performance requirements are adequately supported by lower level test activities.
**What you'll need to succeed**
It is essential that you:
- Are eligible for Charted Status with Engineers Australia
- Extensive experience covering Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Hardware Engineering with at significant exposure to T&E in a Defence environment.
- Superior understanding of Defence T&E Policies
- NV1/ITAR
It is desirable that you:
- Demonstrate and experience across multiple disciplines (including Systems, Software, Hardware, etc.)
