Postdoctoral Researcher in Genomics
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Fellow to join our team at the National Centre for Indigenous Genomics. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in genomics and developing innovative solutions for genomic data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct discovery research and develop novel algorithms and software solutions for genomic data analysis
* Perform empirical evaluations and benchmarking experiments to validate research outcomes
* Collaborate with national and international researchers to deliver research outcomes and engage with stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A PhD in a relevant field (e.g., genetics, bioinformatics, computational biology)
* Excellent research skills and experience in genomic data analysis
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++
* Experience with high-performance computing and cloud-based infrastructure
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
