The Role
Lead our team in maintaining top-tier guest room and public area standards. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure spotless accommodations and common areas, upholding Discovery's high-quality brand.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
* Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
* Train, and support the housekeeping team, fostering a positive team culture
* Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all areas are adequately stocked.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
* Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role is essential
* Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions based on priorities and guest needs.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
* A current valid drivers license is essential

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Undara or Mt Surprise. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
