We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who can provide technical advice and support across various areas including technical safety, facilities, and security.
* Maintain compliance with contractual and legislative requirements through effective management of the security system.
* Lead and manage security by adhering to controls, accreditation, and policies.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on security activities, including ICT and physical security.
* Conduct regular security audits and facilitate external audits to ensure compliance.
* Manage personnel security clearances with relevant authorities.
* Develop and maintain detailed documentation for security systems and processes.
* Investigate security-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with export requirements and relevant laws.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security governance and architecture frameworks, as well as experience in conducting security assurance reviews.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or security discipline is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience working in ICT and cyber-related roles.
Candidates should also possess knowledge of Commonwealth Protective Security Policy and Defence Security Principles Frameworks.
Experience in cloud computing and containerization is highly desirable.
The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
