- Salary: AHP4 - $118,887.00- $129,427.00 p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits
- Woodville South SA, 5011
- Full Time, Permanent Role
- 10% attraction and retention allowance and penalty rates payable in addition to base salary
- Professional development allowance payable in addition to base salary
- Additional qualification allowance payable for relevant postgraduate qualifications

About the role

As the Head Radiographer General, you will lead the operational management of the General Unit, ensuring the smooth coordination of both physical and human resources in line with established policies, procedures and professional standards. You will play a central role in guiding the team, fostering a culture of professional excellence, and driving the effective delivery of services within the Unit. Your leadership will ensure that resources are managed efficiently, outcomes are achieved, and staff are supported to perform at their best.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you will champion research and educational initiatives that enrich the professional development of staff and contribute to continuous improvement across the Unit. By cultivating collaboration, sharing expertise and promoting innovation, you will help shape a positive, forward-thinking environment that benefits patients, staff, and the broader health service community.

About You

You are an experienced and motivated radiography professional with advanced expertise in General Radiography, strong clinical leadership, and a commitment to driving high standards of care and innovation. With the ability to guide teams, implement change, and inspire positive outcomes, you thrive in a dynamic environment where patient safety and service excellence are paramount.

- Registered with AHPRA and licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act (or equivalent), supported by extensive general radiography experience and relevant advanced modality training.

- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including decision-making, supervision, delegation, policy development, and quality assurance.

- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive, collaborative culture.

- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary management, human resource practices, and medico-legal responsibilities, underpinned by a passion for best practice in radiology.
