Family Support Specialist

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families across various regions? This role presents an opportunity to be part of a wrap-around service that supports families of young people who have come into contact with the youth justice system. You will work closely with external stakeholders to increase and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children, contributing to our ultimate goals of assisting young people to meet the conditions of their bail, decreasing the number of children and young people being remanded in custody, and reducing youth reoffending.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Work with families of young people involved in the youth justice system through intensive case work, follow-up and referrals to other specialist services.

* Evaluate client progress towards established goals.

* Identify strengths and establish programme objectives.

* Provide holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged families.
