Job Title: Culinary Master - Full Time Cook Position

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cook to join our team as a full-time culinary master. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Indian cuisine and has the skills to prepare authentic dishes from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:
• Selecting and inspecting high-quality ingredients, including spices, herbs, vegetables, meats, and other essential items for traditional Indian cooking.
• Preparing ingredients according to precise measurements and recipes, ensuring cleanliness and attention to size and texture.
• Seasoning dishes with regional spices and marinades, applying various cooking techniques such as tempering, slow simmering, grilling, and frying to develop complex flavors and textures.
• Monitoring cooking processes to maintain correct cooking times and temperatures for diverse Indian dishes like curries, biryanis, breads, and snacks.
• Supervising kitchen staff during busy service hours, delegating tasks, and collaborating with sous chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment, complying with food safety regulations, and keeping the kitchen environment clean, organized, and safe for staff.
• Managing inventory levels of spices, ingredients, and kitchen supplies, placing orders and replenishing items as needed to avoid shortages and ensure continuous kitchen operations without compromising on ingredient quality.
• Contributing to menu development by assisting the head chef or culinary team in creating and refining new recipes and menu offerings that highlight traditional and contemporary Indian flavors, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback to keep the menu exciting and authentic.

Requirements:
A relevant Certificate III and IV, and at least one year of experience in cooking, preferably in Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a passion for delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
