About Us
For 12 years, J Co Constructions has been designing and building award winning homes on the Sunshine Coast. Guided by our mission to transform the homebuilding experience to a stress-free journey from initial engagement with the sales team to our experienced site supervisors, we pride ourselves on innovation, quality and collaboration that ensure every build feels personal. We structure ourselves around quality and not quantity through capping our builds at 20 homes per year for a more structured and controlled building process. Our builds range from higher end single story homes to high end two story homes with pricing ranging from $450,000.00 to $1,500, As a family-owned business, we value trust, creativity and relationships. The Role
This role is designed for someone who is looking to step into a leadership position. Whether you're a recently qualified carpenter, a tradesperson with a few years of supervisory experience, or someone eager to fast-track your career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. Your main role will consist of being part of the construction team which has a construction manager/head supervisor and a senior supervisor. You will also have the opportunity to be part of the office team seeing how the overall process of new home building and construction works
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in scheduling and overseeing project progression with guidance from the Construction Manager and Supervisor
* Support quality assurance processes to meet high standards
* Help identify and resolve defects or issues on-site
* Ensure onsite construction adheres to building and safety regulations
* Conduct maintenance and and warranty checks as required
* Being hands on for day to day tasks where required to deliver the one percenters required
* Help ensure sites and materials are ready for trades
* Keep sites clean and organized where necessary to maintain trade expectations and relationships
* Jumping on the tools to fill the gaps required to maintain trade timeframes and efficiencies
About You
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. You'll be supported in developing the skills necessary to thrive as a supervisor in the residential construction industry
Key Attributes and Qualifications:
* Minimum 4 years experience in the residential construction industry
* A trade qualification in carpentry or similar (preferred)
* Qualifications in carpentry, building, or construction are acceptable for this role
* Some experience years) in a supervisory or leadership role OR a willingness to learn and grow quickly
* Familiarity with construction techniques, plans and safety compliance (on-the-job training provided)
* Strong communication and problem=solving skills
* A genuine interest in delivering high-quality results and creating a desired client experience

Remuneration
This role offers a competitive salary package based on experiences, including:
* $80,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
* Superannuation
