Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 per annum pending experience + $19,535 Middle Leader Allowance (pro rata) + Super
Role Overview
Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale is seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher - Design Technologies (with the opportunity to step into an acting Curriculum Leadership role for this subject). This is a Full Time, Permanent Teaching role commencing as soon as practicable, with an opportunity of a Fixed Term appointment to the Acting Curriculum Leadership position which will conclude on 17 January 2027.
Responsibilities
The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of Southern Cross Catholic College through leadership of the learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you will be a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers and bring extensive classroom experience in the Arts, together with a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements. You'll pair that professional credibility with a proven ability to lead and mentor others, build collaborative teams and translate data into meaningful improvement. Most importantly, you'll lead with integrity, model our Catholic ethos in practice, and be motivated by helping both students and staff flourish.
