We are seeking a well-rounded Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. You have strong experience managing wholesale accounts and understand the commercial expectations, rhythms, and operational requirements of large retail partners.
You bring a blend of commercial instinct, administrative accuracy, relationship-building confidence, and a hands-on approach. You're comfortable navigating FOB programs and offshore supplier partnerships, and you understand how QA, ethical sourcing, online execution, and margin management connect to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting through to the National Sales Manager.
Sales & Customer Outcomes
* Maximise sales across assigned wholesale accounts through strong category insight and proactive opportunity identification.
* Lead the seasonal Go-to-Market process with design, merchandising, offshore teams, and key customers.
* Deliver best-in-class DIFOT across categories and programs.
* Spend meaningful time in-store to understand customer operations, identify challenges, and uncover growth opportunities.
* Evaluate sales models (FIS / FOB) to determine the most commercially advantageous approach.
* Manage and maintain costing templates to ensure margins and pricing integrity are upheld.
* Partner with customers on advertising plans, markdown funding, and annual promotional cycles.
* You will manage a portfolio across major Australian retailers (e.g., Target, Myer, David Jones, Kmart, TK Maxx or similar).
Relationship Management & Commercial Execution
* Build strong, respectful, solutions-focused relationships with buyers, planners, and retail teams.
* Collaborate with offshore partners to manage FOB programs, timelines, product accuracy, and approvals.
* Liaise with merchandising services to ensure field execution supports customer expectations.
* Contribute to a culture where "everyone pitches in," supporting cross-functional teamwork and momentum.
* You will work closely with the National Sales Manager and a team of six across sales administration, logistics, and design, as well as international team members.
Reporting, Data & Operational Excellence
* Manage all portfolio sales reporting, ensuring timely, accurate distribution to internal stakeholders.
* Monitor production schedules, shipments, and commission cycles across the order-to-delivery process.
* Provide data-driven insights to support range planning, forecasting, and sales optimisation.
* Develop, understand, and track performance against customer sales budgets.
Range Development & Category Ownership
* Partner with the Design team to build seasonal ranges tailored to each customer.
* Recommend appropriate assortments, categories for each account.
* Manage customer ASR programs within your portfolio.
Cost Management
* Oversee customer advertising, markdown planning, and co-op investment within agreed budgets.
* Manage capital expenditure programs (fixtures, displays, etc.) to budget.

ABOUT YOU
Commercial & Retail Acumen
* Experience managing wholesale accounts within accessories, apparel, footwear, or related consumer goods.
* Strong understanding of retail operations, including online execution, markdown cycles, stock flow, and margin levers.
* Experience working with offshore suppliers and knowledge of FOB, QA, ethical sourcing, and critical path timelines.
* 5–10 years' experience managing wholesale retail accounts.
Administrative Capability & Detail Orientation
* Highly organised with strong reporting, data management, and process discipline.
* Confident working with costing templates, customer portals, and internal systems.
