Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Police Citizens Youth Clubs NSW Ltd

About the Job

  • Drive digital engagement and storytelling to promote PCYC NSW's mission across NSW.
  • Create innovative, multi-channel content to connect with communities and amplify youth voices.
  • Support exciting state‐wide campaigns and help build a movement that changes young lives.
  • Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok) and create content that inspires and informs.

Are you a content creator and social media storyteller who wants their work to make a real impact? PCYC NSW is looking for a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our high‐impact team and help us tell our story in fresh, inspiring, and meaningful ways. If you're skilled at creating engaging digital content and managing platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok — this is your chance to combine your talents with purpose‐driven work and contribute to real social change.

Use your creative skills to help empower young people, prevent youth crime, and support communities across NSW - from Broken Hill to Blacktown and beyond.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand, the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in driving engagement across our digital platforms, supporting the implementation of the social media strategy and contributing to broader marketing and fundraising campaigns. You'll be hands‐on with content creation, community management, and campaign support that aligns with PCYC NSW's mission to empower youth, get kids active in life, and reduce youth crime. You will:

  • Create compelling and engaging content across various formats (video, photo, audio, written) for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage PCYC NSW's social media channels (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok), including scheduling, publishing, and community engagement via platforms and Sprout Social.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to capture stories, testimonials, and user‐generated content to bring our impact to life.
  • Develop monthly reports tracking social media performance, providing insights to inform strategy.
  • Work closely with ambassadors, influencers, and partners to amplify our voice and message.
  • Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, including brand, fundraising, and local marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain digital asset management and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Assist with event promotion, collateral development, and support requests from clubs and operations.

About Us

About You

You're a creative, organised, and proactive digital storyteller with strong attention to detail and a passion for community impact. Whether you're behind the lens, writing a campaign post, or coordinating a story from the field, you thrive on bringing ideas to life and connecting audiences with purpose.

YOU WILL HAVE

  • A robust alignment with PCYC NSW's values: Respect, Community, Integrity, Commitment, and Resilience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
