Join to apply for the Cardiac Scientist role at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Cardiac Scientist role at Sullivan Nicolaides PathologyEmployment Type: Permanent Part-Time (3 days/week, with opportunity to transition to full-time)Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse, interpret and complete preliminary reports on Holter MonitorsProvide clinical support for ECGs and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitors (ABPM)Provide support and troubleshooting to Area Managers, Collection Centre and Laboratory staff in relation to Cardiology ServicesContribute to the timely release of patient results to doctors and specialistsSupport collection staff across the Practice with regards to the application and removal of cardiac monitoring devicesProvide administration support to the Cardiology Services Team including, but not limited to, resource development, quality improvement initiatives and projects as requiredWhat we are looking forWe are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with:A Bachelor’s degree (Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7) or Postgraduate qualification (AQF Level 8) in healthcare science with subjects specific to cardiac science, including cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, cardiac pharmacology, bioinstrumentation, and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) clinical placement, along with relevant post-graduate experienceDemonstrated experience in the interpretation and preliminary reporting of Holter Monitors and ECGsGood organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlinesA high level of customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholdersWillingness to learn and work with Cardiology-specific applicationsThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityA commitment to Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Core ValuesNurses with cardiology experience are also encouraged to apply.About Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP)Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is a leading provider of diagnostic pathology services in Australia, renowned for our commitment to excellence in patient care and quality testing.
